Sickening....Oh give me a break!

The whole Raychel Roo-Transkid-Murder Hoax story has now taken on a even more bizarre twist. In an "apology" posted on Laura's Playground, a person who uses the name "edeyn blackeney" now admits to being Rachel Roo. But that is not the bizarre part..."edeyn" also claims to have Disassociative Identity Disorder...what was formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder and that Raychel was one of her "alters."

Now, DID is a highly controversial diagnosis. If it does exist, it is rare. A more likely explanation for all this is that the person involved was exposed as a fraud and is now trying to engage in a bit of CYA. Tobi Hill-Meyer over at Bilireco disagrees, but then that person was the last hold out trying to make the story true.

In any case, this has been yet another weird episode in the fantasy world of the transgender.
